A new year! Whoo-ra! Anyway, I’m not exactly very good at posting updates very often, nor do I care to. But since the last post was before Halloween, I figured I should say at least something.
So far, my goals for the new year include drawing whatever pops into my head as well as the fan art that keeps people happy. I also hope to go back and edit the second draft of my novel and see if I can fix any of the snags. And if I can survive my second year of college, I will be pretty happy with that as well.
As far as what I shall be reading this year, the list is already growing. What I’d like to get my hands on soon, however, would be this book of people photography I came across the other day. It looked interesting and if I can every find some subjects to photograph other than myself and my siblings it may be useful. Plus I’ve been toying with eventually doing photography on a professional level.
I believe that is it for this post. I have a feeling the next one won’t be until three months or so from now, but we shall see…

The Costume Hunt Begins
A few things: 1, the 50 theme art challenge I'm doing is now doubling for extra credit in my art class. yay!
2, HALLOWEEN IS COMMING AND I STILL CAN'T THINK OF A COSTIME! I have old costumes in my closet, but I don't really want to re-use them this year. Though that's what I probably will end up doing if I can't think of anything. Also, I can't do anything very complex because I honestly don't have time to spend on a complex costume. I bet I'll end up pulling something together at the last minute. I always seem to be doing that.

SORRY!
Yeah, yeah, I know. I haven't posted in forever. Not that it matters because I don't really think anyone reads this.
Anyways, this college semester thus far has been very busy. I'm taking four classes so I'm a full time student. yay! I'm taking Sociology, Drawing 1, History of American Freedom, and English 102. So far, history is my favorite class. Why? Because I've got an awesome instructor! If anyone can make history interesting, he can. ^_^ Art is good too. But I seriously dislike my soci instructor and my Eng instructor looks like a football player...
This wasn't a very long update, but I've got to get back to my homework. Ta Ta!

quick update
Today is my last day of classes before final exams and the end of collage! until fall that is. YAY!
ok I've been really bad at keeping up with this blog. mostly because no one really reads it so don't feel obligated to do anything. Plus, when you have piles of homework lying on your desk that demand attention, blogging isn't exactly a priority.
It's been raining. A lot. My mom doesn't like it. I don't really have an opinion on the matter. If it rains, it rains. besides, it smells good.
I haven't been writing a lot recently. I need to start doing that again. especially since I have friends that are interested in reading my stuff. I just need to get myself to do it. I'm going to try to work harder on that over the summer possibly.

MusicMusic
I love spring. The main reason is because it's WARM! compared to winter anyway...
Moving on, I got bored yesterday so I arranged a few songs with my music maker. I really have no idea what I'm doing. I'm just sort of throwing things together. maybe someday I might sit down and work through all the complicated buttons on my music mixing computer program, but honestly, I don't have enough patience for it.

Tomorrow Will Be a Repeat of Today
I like patterns. When washing dishes I like washing the plates best because they're all the same and they stack nicely next to each other in nice little rows in the drying rack. When folding laundry, I like to fold the towels best because they make neat little stacks. I hate the socks. It's so hard to find matching socks. They must disappear in a black hole or something.
I also hate patterns. Especially when my days are an endless pattern of the same thing over and over. My typical week looks something like this: Monday: Get up, go to collage, sit through long boring classes, go home, eat dinner, do chores, read, do homework, go to bed. Tuesday: Get up, do lots of homework, do chores, read, do more homework, go to bed. Wednesday: Get up, go to collage, sit through long boring classes, go home, eat dinner, do chores, read, do homework, go to bed. Thursday: Get up, do lots of homework, do chores, read, do more homework, go to bed... Do we see the problem here?
These kind of patterns I can't stand and yet I find myself trapped. Living the same basic outline day after day after day after day. It's sooooo dull. I'm sort of reminding myself of that one thing from the Nightmare Inspector: "Tomorrow will be a Repeat of Today." Except, I don't want tomorrow to be a repeat of today.
I can't wait for winter to be over. It's a bit easier to have a little bit more of a variety in one's life when one can actually go outside and do things without freezing to death.

My Too Smart Stupid Cat
Theo, my white Turkish Van, loves hair ties. He likes to chew on them and bat them with his paws around the house. I'm constantly having to pick them up and put them back where they belong or throw them out if he's managed to snap them.
Yesterday, I was sitting at my desk when I heard a scraping sound behind me. I turn around and Theo is pawing at my jewelry chest. It's a foot and a half tall and has little drawers to put things in and two panels on the sides that open where you can hang necklaces. I watched as he opened the top drawer with his paw and pulled out one of my hair ties and ran off with it in his mouth. Apparently, he knows where I keep them. I managed to get it back from him and closed the drawer.
Five minutes later, he's at it again. After watching my cat open the drawer five times, I moved the hair ties to a different drawer hoping he would stop trying to get them. It only made things worse. He started to open the other drawers and tip them on to the floor.
Right now I have a cloth bag over the top of the case so he can't get in to it. I'm hoping he will eventually loose intrest in it and go terrorize something else. Neither of my other cats have any intrest in hair ties and they don't bother looking for them. Theo not only looks for them, but he figures out how to get them. Whoever said cats weren't as smart as dogs never owned one.
My sister and I caught him on video if you don't belive me.
