I Is Now a Graduate =D

So now I am a graduate. YAY! I kept getting questions like “Are you nervous? Are you nervous?” Honestly, I wasn’t. After Pride and Prejudice, Graduating was a walk in the park! I mean, all I had to do was put on this blue tent and stick a square slab of cardboard on my head. Yes, I know it’s called a Cap and Gown. I don’t care. To me, it’s Cardboard and Tent. Tee Hee.

Anyway, you walk in there, sit down, stand up, sit down, stand up, get the diploma, switch the tassel from left to right and walk out. Ta da! All done. You want to talk about easy?

The reception on the other hand is another story. It was so loud in there! There were way to many people stuck in too small a place. It was kind of stuffy too. Everyone was talking and people kept saying “congratulations, congratulations” and All I could think to say was “Thank You”. I started sounding like a broken record I tell you! Each graduate got a dish of candy from the Homeschool Group leaders. The only probable was no one thought to wrap it in plastic and put our names on it. Rebekah and I shared a table and Neither of us were able to eat any of our candy. She’s got little siblings and I’ve got siblings and a lot of little cousins. I am a little more mad about that than I should be. But I like candy! And I didn’t get ANY! Oh well...

*Pouts*

It does not feel like May. May should be nice, warm and sunny, not cold and cloudy. I mean, I'd be happy with the clouds if they actually did something. But they just sit there. no rain or nothing.

So dear May, please warm up a bit? Please?

Oh Yes, Happy Mother's Day people!

How to Shut Up Your Brain 101

The answer to this question is getting something else stuck in it. or stare at a grass blade for hours and think of nothing else. It's never worked for me, but who knows, might work for you.

I always have some kind of music piece stuck in my head. whether it's classical, soundtrack, one of my favorite songs at the moment or some annoying little ditty from my childhood. there is ALAWAYS something stuck in my head. I wish sometimes i could figure out how to turn off that mental CD player stuck on repeat. Bother.

Spring's Here

My Brother is off on a bike ride and our dog Dakota won't stop howling. It's getting kind of annoying. Never mind, it was Cheyenne.

But to get down to business. I'm so happy spring is here again. Time to put away the flannel sheets and pull out the flip-flops! YAY! I should probably start packing away some of my winter coats. I'm going to have to leave a few out though because of how much the temperature fluxuates here. It's hot outside right now, but it might be very cold later. You just never know...

Take a Bow

Ah, so the play(Pride and Prejudice) is over. It went very well. My mother said that there were close to 500 people Saturday night and 300 Sunday afternoon. That's a lot of people and quite a great deal more than I thought we would have gotten. If this is how I end my highschool days, it most certainly went out with a bag!

Of course, I don't graduate until May, but still.

I am very happy I don't have to wear that dress again. Hot and itchy and the empire waist makes me look fat. bleh!

On another note, Easter is coming up. We aren't sure what we're doing for Easter since dad's in Fort Worth. We're thinking of going up there, but it's an 8 hour drive that no one looks forward to. I guess we have a few days to figure it out. Ta Ta!

The long awaited post.

Long time no write. Lo siento. I've been kind of busy, but I've also been a bit lazy. hee hee. So...tna.

Well, The play is coming along nicely, my dress is made, I've memorized all of my lines and learned three of the dances. mwahaha.

The weather has been quite mild and I've been thoroughly enjoying it.

I had a sleep over at Rebekah's and we watched the importance of being Ernest. very funny movie. I laughed my head off.

I got a pen tablet so now It's a lot easier to draw on the computer.

I've been playing Lego Bat Man with Rachel and then I've been borrowing Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess from Sarah, so I need to move through that game as quickly as possible so I can give it back. the only problem is that Twilight Princess is not a fast game. I think I'm about a quarter of the way through now though.

So yeah, that's it with my busy boring life. tata
